This weekend is +25% mp xp if anyone has yet to try the multi.

I got a few games in.   It seemed alright but defiantly not as polished as many other shooters.

I know a lot of people are upset about the ending but I did not mind the story ending.    Sort of liked the bleakness.    That said it would have been nice for them to put more work in the ending in minor variations for all the choices I made through three games.     But then even with just major choices that would have been a mountain of work with all the possible iterations.

I keep wondering if Insanity difficulty is bugged because I can't tell the difference between it and Hardcore. It's been kind of trivial.

Only significant differences I noticed from hardcore to insanity were that you cannot kill an enemy outright so long as they have shields/barriers. Even a tiny little sliver. Banshees seem much harder to strip barriers off of. Grenades have a greatly increased radius for being a 1 hit ko.

I'm a little disappointed that it didn't give more enemies barriers/shields to strip like in ME2 to reinforce squad abilities and proper team building. I did insanity on infiltrator and pretty much brought whoever I wanted for dialog.

I fine with them not piling on redundant defenses and making it a monotonous warp/overload fest, but they don't even tweak the number of enemies. Aside from a slightly higher incidence of getting instagibbed, I can't tell the difference from hardcore most of the time.

Decoy seems about useless in single player though. Nothing much seems to pay attention to it.

Oh, and Sentry Turrets are the dumbest thing ever. TIM should make an army out of those. Better than Reapers.

I struggled first time I did grissom and then I noticed sabotage lvl 1 goes through shields and full duration hacks turrets. Way overpowered. And yea decoy is dumb. It only seems to work if it is the ONLY visible thing on the field which is practically never since enemies seem to be able to see you around corners.

I can say though, if you roll a new lvl 1 character rather then an import/ng+ insanity is becomes the challenge it should be. Very easy to be gibbed from errant enemy fire.
