Audacity on Sith Meditation Sphere this weekend. Sith Assassin. Playing with One Percent Wipes, so feel free to PM Audere on the official website if you're curious.

Can you choose Borg as your character race in this game?

Also, if anyone's in a guild and wants to ally/rival to try to make a server as non-suck as possible, PM me here or on the TOR official site.

I don't know much about the classes in this game, probably going to be an Imperial Agent with Sniper spec because that's how I rolled in Galaxies.

Whats the deal with light/dark side points on non-jedi characters? Does it matter if my Imperial Agent has light side points?

Non-Jedi still respond the same way to Light and Dark points. Dark side gives you cosmetic dark side corruption, and there's some gear in the game that's restricted to Light or Dark side. Alignment: not just for Jedi anymore!

Ive played a few hours on Sith Med. also, but the controls seem so loose, even with turning the mouse down it just seems more like an FPS. The quests, storyline, voice acting are all good and the overall SW universe is well integrated but so far im a bit underwhelmed. Maybe its better with raiding

You'll find a quest on the Imperial Fleet before you hit Dromund Kas that sends you to the trainer to pick your AC.

Played a Marauder all weekend. Lots of hope for this game. Still a wee bit rough around some of the edges, but potential is definitely there. It's nothing earthshattering, but it's very fun. My major issues were low res armor textures, no AA, lack of scripted quests and the stagnant feeling of a lot of the environments. All of which is pretty easily fixable in future patches. Foundations for fun combat are there - played the Marauder to 18 and a BH to 8, both of which were really fun. I like how intricate the trees are. What I really like is that I can tell you more about Collider, the Sith Marauder after 40 minutes than I could tell you about Collider, the Enhancement Shaman after 5 years. Having to make all sorts of choices really attaches you to your toon.
Thumbs up from me. We'll see how endgame fairs.

If you have time for Star Wars, Collider, you have time to come back and raid, imo.

I'm sure poor Collider still has nightmares about getting killed on trash 20x between bosses. On another more slightly on-topic note what is the general opinion on SW:TOR so far? Now that I have my life back in a much better place I am considering either re-activating Seyas or playing TOR but I can't really find any information on the raid content or even party content so far (if this info even exists really I am not sure).

The immersion is sickeningly deep, dungeons and group content is palpable. Now class balance seems off but that seems like it'll be a remedy as they go kind of thing.
