This week is EA games sale week. Every day a different EA game franchise is on sale on Steam. Today its Mass Effect. Mass Effect 1 for $5 and Mass Effect 2 for $10. I just thought I'd make sure everyone got a heads up for what seems like a bargain for a recent highly rated game.

Not explicitly a sale, but TF2 is free to play now. If anyone wants to play some games, add ozmaticon on Steam.

Also, Europa Universalis III complete is only $3.75. Fantastic, deep strategy game with tons of content.

I got lead and gold for $1.50 a few days ago. Been having a blast with my roommate. Worth the money if you have someone to play with

Kind of a weak day, but today's deals include:

Jamestown (50% off - $4.99) - Intriguing high concept shmup. Getting this myself.
Far Cry 2 (75% off - $4.99) - Maligned for not really building on the first game, but a solid experience by itself. The African locale and good use of sandbox make it worth $5. The original is only $2.50, but I'm not sure how well it holds up. The ending was just awful, too.

Also, a bunch of stuff that is on sale all the time (GTA, Killing Floor, Arkham Asylum).

Amnesia: The Dark Descent is $5.  Solid horror experience, better than most big studio attempts (looking at you, F.E.A.R.).

Also, ME2 is down to $7 now, no excuses!

Notable deals for today:

Terreria, a 2D Minecraft of sorts, is $2.49.
Supreme Commander 2 is $3.74. I've been told the multiplayer is a lot of fun.
Dead Space 2 is $15. Kind of crazy that it was $50+ 6 months ago.
Neverwinter Nights 2 and 2 expansion packs for $6.74. I only played (and enjoyed) the first one, but that seems like a solid deal.

Yeah, I got Sanctum for 3.75. First person tower defense intrigues me. My total haul for this year's summer sale:

Oh damn, I forgot about Frozen Synapse. Is Just Cause 2 worth $5? I don't have an xbox wired controller so I'd be using keyboard + mouse.
