My current lvl 29 Wizard build:

top priority: +damage, intellect
high priority: magic find, vitality
medium priority: gold find, +xp, +pick-up radius
low priority: attack speed, move speed, armor
I'd put +xp ahead of magic find, and attack speed works on (most) spells, so it's better than low priority.

Im not sure I want to waste any effort on obtaining attack speed when my overall rate of casting seems to be nearly entirely dependent on my resource generation and pool size.

Wow, it's been a week and there's no new posts. People really MUST be busy playing the game while enjoying it.

I play a monk. Took my time leveling, not the poopsocking kind of guy.  I soloed Act1 inferno last night.  Act2 is well, impossible in my current setup and I'm in the process of acquiring resist gear to hopefully have a chance.

How is everyone's progress in Inferno?  Are any of you guys clearing Act2 & 3 legit? (post-broken class mechanics that were hotfixed the other day).  What kind of strategies are you using to clear Act2?  I'd like to hear some detailed descriptions of success!

I'm struggling on Nightmare as DH after the Smokescreen nerfs, it seems I either have to a) go through mobs very very slowly or b) chain Caltrops so that mobs don't eat my face. Tele mobs and Dgrip mobs still piss me off however, especially those that also apply a snare. ><

Monk reporting in. Act 2 inferno is a no go atm.

Nightmare complete, onto Hell. I have a feeling it's gonna suck balls once I hit act II just because of the aforementioned SS nerf and the mass amount of tele/grip mobs that appear in that act.

Hehe, SS pre fix was by far the most broken mechanic in the game. You could spec into permanent 100% invuln without even getting agro. Im surprised that not more DHs completed inferno.

Pre FA fix, I died literally hundreds of times just trying to get Kulle's blood in act 2. Ironically, I have a much easier time now post fix. I had progressed up to act 3 heart of sin pre fix, but I think I could zerg through up to an act4 boss, but I see no point if I cant farm it.

I do think I could solo inferno Diablo if given enough attempts. I can avoid everything but his teleport melee, and I think a combo of nova, teleport, and kiting could deal with that. I can cheese my shadow clone by long ranging it with persistent dps attacks. Every other diablo attack is telegraphed with enough response time to avoid. Im pretty sure his dot is only applied if you get melee'd. His cooldowns do get out of whack in p3 though.

But what is the point of being able to kill inferno diablo if you cant build nephalem stacks for him?

I beat act 1, stepped into act 2, and held tighty there instead of trying to struggle my way through inch by inch or by skipping content. Working on a 2nd char, almost to 60. I'm doing a lot of AH playing, which is probably more fun than actual playing to me, and have been doubling my gold on a nearly daily basis.

Until the AH crashes every other hour making it very hard to post more. ><

I haven't had much time to play, I only just hit 60, and I'm looking forward to trying Inferno on my Barbarian.  I expect I'll finally get my ass kicked around?

Inferno Act 2 is the first actual jump in difficulty you'll notice. Act 1 isn't a joke your first time through, but Act 2 is where you'll get fucked up.

Yeah, I got through Skeleton King tonight in, like, an hour of playing.  Some champ packs were painful, but nothing too bad.  Although horde + frozen + arcane enchant + something I can't remember can seriously go fuck itself.

SO MANY LASERS

If that final affix wasn't "Invulnerable," you had it easy, Mel.

Desecrate, Invulnerable, Mortar, Arcane. On the Act IV dudes who have Meteor innately. FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

I had horde, invulnerable minion, molten, illusion earlier on my Monk. That was fun...
