I thought you all might like to see the riot I witnessed yesterday...you may have heard about the miners rioting in Madrid.  I somehow happened to see the one violent protest yet to occur in Spain over the current economic crisis.

Heh so that picture looks like anything but a riot... just a normal day in the city Smiley Or perhaps the most peaceful violent riot ever.

It was quite peaceful when I took the picture.  About an hour afterwards someone threw firecrackers at the police, they shot rubber bullets into the crowd, and 14 ended up injured including 2 journalists and 8 cops.  I'm told it was on the news there yesterday
