Our second time killing Anub we came 1% away from this achievement, and it feels good getting this even if it was delayed. Awesome work guys and a big thanks to everyone on Garona for the kind words. Thoughts by Melbot: Good work guys. It was especially impressive the way we handled a few unpleasant turns of the RNG, and a few people were truly outstanding. It's also nice to have the pressure off. Which brings me to this: Blizzard, if you ever, by some miracle, wander by this site, please take this message to heart. Limited attempt models, and the associated additional rewards for more attempts remaining IS NOT FUN. It is not a good mechanic. It makes even farming high-pressure and stressful. It's not only not fun, it actively removes fun from the game. Please, never do this again. I would like to sincerely apologize to all the guild members who deserved more face time with Anub, but who sat because until yesterday every attempt was still progression, and we wanted to keep the same raid comp. You deserve better.
